Việc sản xuất nông nghiệp tại khu vực đang ngày càng được quan tâm. Các hợp tác xã hình thành và hướng dẫn người dân trong sản xuất nông sản đạt tiêu chuẩn cao (theo tiêu chuẩn Vietgap hiện nay). Từ đó giúp tăng chất lượng sản phẩm. Tuy nhiên, mức thu nhập của người dân vẫn chưa cao. Sử dụng chất hóa học trong sản xuất tác động đến môi trường xung quanh và sức khỏe của người lao động. Nguồn lao động trẻ của khu vực còn thiếu. Hệ thống cơ sở hạ tầng giao thông kém, không có nước máy và hệ thống nước thải tác động lớn đến cuộc sống của người dân.
