Phương pháp nghiên cứu là công cụ nghiên cứu khoa học trong thực hiện
nhiệm vụ đề tài. Phương pháp nghiên cứu khoa học do mục tiêu và đối tượng
nghiên cứu quyết định.
Có hai loại phương pháp nghiên cứu mà nhóm quyết định sử dụng trong đề
tài này:
+ Nghiên cứu định tính (NCĐT)
+ Nghiên cứu định lượng (NCĐL)
Trong đó, nghiên cứu định lượng là chủ đạo.
NCĐT là phương pháp thu thập dữ liệu bằng chữ và là phương pháp tiếp cận
nhằm tìm cách mô tả và phân tích đặc điểm của nhóm người từ quan điểm của nhà
nhân học. NCĐL là phương pháp thu thập dữ liệu bằng số và giải quyết quan hệ
trong lý thuyết và nghiên cứu theo quan điểm diễn dịch.
NCĐT theo hình thức quy nạp, tạo ra lý thuyết, phương pháp nghiên cứu
định tính còn sử dụng quan điểm diển giải, không chứng minh chỉ có giải thích và

dùng thuyết kiến tạo trong nghiên cứu. NCĐL chủ yếu là kiểm dịch lý thuyết, sử
dụng mô hình Khoa học tự nhiên thực chứng luận, phương pháp NCĐL có thể
chứng minh được trong thực tế và theo chủ nghĩa khách quan
Phương pháp NCĐT: Nhóm sẽ áp dụng phương pháp NCĐT cho các câu hỏi
NCKH về tác động của các quy định của nhà nước và chính quyền địa phương ( Ủy
ban Nhân dân quận 1)có ảnh hưởng đối với những người bán hàng rong và đối với
tính khả thi của hình thức quảng bá du lịch thông qua các gánh hàng rong như thế
nào; kết hợp với phỏng vấn.
Phương pháp NCĐL: Nhóm sẽ áp dụng phương pháp NCĐL cho các câu hỏi
NCKH về thái độ của lực lượng bán hàng rong với việc quảng bá du lịch TP.HCM
và mối quan tâm của khách du lịch đối với hình thức quảng bá này
