− Xây dựng mới line nhánh rẽ (đi cáp ngầm) 2 mạch 110kV từ nguồn xúc tiến 110kV (XD mới) tại trạm bảo an 110kV Xuân Hà hiện hữu đến trạm bảo an 110kV Chi Lăng (xây dựng mới), với chiều dài khoảng 3,3km.
− Xây dựng mới 02 ngăn xuất tuyến 110kV tại trạm 110kV Xuân Hà hiện hữu, sử dụng thiết bị hợp bộ compact.
− Xây dựng mới 06 lộ ra 22kV (đi cáp ngầm) từ TBA 110kV Chi Lăng đấu nối vào lưới 22kV khu vực, tổng chiều dài tuyến khoảng 230m.
1.4.2.1 Các hạng mục chính của trạm biến áp
Scope of The Chi Lang 110kV Substation:
− Type of substation: Không người trực, sử dụng thiết bị GIS 110kV trong nhà, transformer lắp ngoài trời.
− Voltage level: 110/22kV.
− Capacity : 2 transformer 110/22kV, with one 63 MVA transformer at first stage, có dự phòng vị trí lắp MBA thứ 2.
− HTPP 110kV : sơ đồ sơ đồ chữ H có 5 máy cắt. Giai đoạn này lắp đầy đủ 5 ngăn gồm:
 02 ngăn lộ line 110kV
 02 ngăn lộ tổng MBA 110kV
 01 ngăn phân đoạn
− HTPP 22kV : sơ đồ 1 hệ thống thanh cái có phân đoạn, dự kiến lắp đặt 22 tủ phân phối (giai đoạn này lắp 11 tủ) gồm:
 01 tủ máy cắt lộ tổng
 01 tủ biến điện áp
 01 tủ máy cắt cho MBA tự dùng
 07 tủ máy cắt xuất tuyến
 01 tủ cầu dao phân đoạn.
− Hệ thống điều khiển bảo vệ:
Trạm được Page bị hệ thống điều khiển và giám sát bằng máy tính có cấu trúc 04 cấp điều khiển như sau:
 Cấp thiết bị: Điều khiển tại tủ đấu dây tại chổ thiết bị
 Cấp tủ điều khiển và bảo vệ: Điều khiển thông qua MIMIC và BCU tại tủ điều khiển bảo vệ
 Cấp mạng LAN, hệ thống máy chủ, gateway, giao diện người sử dụng và cơ sở dữ liệu trạm: Điều khiển trên HMI hệ thống máy tính
 Cấp kết nối SCADA/EMS: Điều khiển tại Trung tâm điều độ
Hệ thống rơ le bảo vệ được sử dụng rơ le bảo vệ loại kỹ thuật số có độ nhạy cao, impact nhanh, kết nối với hệ thống máy tính theo giao thức IEC 61850.

− Hệ thống thông tin liên lạc:
 Xây dựng tuyến cáp quang Nonmetallic 24 sợi đấu nối từ trạm 110kV Chi Lăng đến trạm 110kV Xuân Hà.
