Bảo hiểm PVI sẽ thay mặt Người được bảo hiểm hay đại diện cho NĐBH thanh toán toàn bộ số tiền mà NĐBH sẽ phải trả theo quy định của pháp luật hay theo hợp đồng dưới hình thức tiền bồi thường (trừ những khoản tiền có tính chất là tiền phạt và/hoặc cảnh cáo và/hoặc phạt lũy tiến, phạt bổ sung bằng cách nhân gấp nhiều lần mức phạt) đối với thiệt hại về người và tài sản xảy ra trong thời hạn bảo hiểm do một sự kiện có liên quan đến công việc kinh doanh của NĐBH gây ra.
