Tối 8/12, tại Bảo tàng Phụ nữ Việt Nam, Hội Việt-Mỹ phối hợp Đại sứ quán Mỹ tại Hà Nội tổ chức lễ khai mạc Triển lãm Tranh nghệ thuật với chủ đề "Việt Nam trong mắt tôi" của nữ họa sỹ Soraya Runkel.

Triển lãm trưng bày và giới thiệu hơn 40 tác phẩm hội họa, với nội dung miêu tả những sự kiện diễn ra từ năm 1995, trong đó có lễ ký kết bình thường hóa quan hệ giữa hai nước và lễ khai trương Đại sứ quán Mỹ tại Việt Nam.

Bên cạnh đó là các tác phẩm mô tả cuộc sống đời thường ở Việt Nam như quán bia hơi trên hè phố, quán cơm bình dân, con thuyền neo đậu bên bờ sông Hồng, khung cảnh vùng thôn quê, phụ nữ thiểu số vùng cao.

Max 8/12, in the Museum of Vietnam Women, Vietnam-American Association of co-ordinate the us Embassy in Hanoi hosted the opening ceremony artistic painting exhibition with the theme "Vietnam in my eyes" by American artist Soraya Runkel.Exhibition and introduced more than 40 works of painting, with the contents described the events that took place in 1995, including the signing of the normalization of relations between the two countries and opening the u.s. Embassy in Vietnam.Besides these works describe the life in Vietnam as a steam beer on a budget, summer, boats moored on the banks of the Red River, countryside setting, the high minority women.

Evening 8/12, at the Vietnam Women's Museum, the Vietnam-US coordinated US Embassy in Hanoi organized the opening ceremony with artistic painting exhibition entitled "Vietnam in my eyes" of female artists Soraya Runkel. The exhibition and introduced more than 40 paintings, with contents depicting the events since 1995, including the signing of the normalization of bilateral ties and opening of the General US Embassy in Vietnam. Besides the compositions described daily life in Vietnam as little brasserie in the streets, canteen, boat moored on the banks of the Red River, rural scenery , upland minority women.
