Về việc tiêu thụ dầu trong sản xuất, giai đoạn 2003 - 2004 Nhà máy thực hiện chỉ còn 96 MJ/hl (trong khi định mức là 98) thì đến giai đoạn 2004 - 2005 mức thực hiện chỉ còn 92,8 MJ/hl, thấp hơn định mức 2,2MJ/hl. Năm 2005, Công ty đã tiết kiệm trên 4 tỷ đồng tiền dầu và được Sở Công nghiệp, Sở Khoa học Công nghệ và Môi trường công nhận là một trong những đơn vị tiết kiệm năng lượng tốt tại Thành phố hồ chí minh hiện nay.
