Tầm quan trọng của Ngoại ngữ trong hội nhập quốc tế ai cũng thừa nhận, vì vậy vấn đề sinh viên ngoại ngữ ra trường không có việc làm cần phải được xem xét ở 3 yếu tố chính: bản thân, nhà trường và xã hội.
Đầu tiên, khi bắt đầu chọn ngành học sinh viên cần phải xác định thật rõ đam mê, sở thích của bản thân, không phụ thuộc vào quyết định của gia đình. Bên cạnh đó, cần phải chú trọng vào việc học, năng động hơn trong giao tiếp, cần phải nghiên cứu thêm tài liệu để hỗ trợ kiến thức, rèn luyện các kỹ năng giao tiếp thật tốt để đủ bản lĩnh và tự tin khi giao tiếp với nhà tuyển dụng.

Thứ hai, Môi trường giáo dục đại học là luôn tạo cho người học tính chủ động, sáng tạo, luôn tìm tòi thế nhưng đôi khi lại có rất nhiều câu hỏi đặt ra mà đáp án lại quá mơ hồ. Đối với một số sinh viên FFL chưa tìm được công việc đúng chuyên môn. theo điều tra phỏng vấn chúng tôi thu thập được nhiều ý kiến khác nhau nhưng tóm lại là đồ: Chương trình đào tạo của nhà trường mà đặc biệt là của khoa chưa sâu, phân bố thời gian, chương trình học chưa hợp lí khiến họ không hứng thú học tập, nội dung học chưa đi sâu và thực hành nhiều mà còn quá nặng về lý thuyết, chỉ quan tâm đến số lượng mà không quan tâm đến chất lượng,không quan tâm đến việc tiếp thu của sinh viên
