Researchers have developed a method based on two models API (Antecedent Precipitation Index) and the model C-MEB (C-band Microwave Emission of the Biosphere) to soil moisture mapping in the West African region with high time resolution (3 hours) from precipitation data are determined from the PERSIANN satellite and a satellite radar data in the AMSR-E.
