Sống thử đang trở thành một xu hướng của đại bộ phận giới trẻ ở Việt Nam trong những năm gần đây. Những cặp đôi sẽ sống với nhau như vợ chồng và không có đăng ký kết hôn, sau khi sống với nhau một thời gian, tùy theo quyết định của cả hai bên nếu họ thấy phù hợp thì sẽ đi đến hôn nhân, nhưng đa số kết quả của “những lần sống chung” này đều dẫn đến chia tay.
Theo như một thống kê tại trường đại học mở Hà Nội, vào năm 2010 thì có tới một phần ba sinh viên sống thử trước hôn nhân, Trong khi trước đó 5 năm, một nghiên cứu khác ở Hồ Chí Minh cho thấy tỷ lệ sống thử ở giới trẻ là 5%. Ngoài ra trong một khảo sát không chính thức của một blogger Vietnam và có khoảng 3000 người tham gia thì phần lớn những người tham gia đều ủng hộ việc sống thử trước hôn nhân.
Chúng ta sẽ đi sâu vào tìm hiểu những nguyên nhân khiến đại bộ phận giới trẻ ngày nay đồng ý với việc sống thử trước hôn nhân dưới hai góc nhìn chủ quan là những lí do từ chính bản thân những cặp đôi đồng ý sống thử và khách quan bắt nguồn từ những tác động từ thế giới bên ngoài dẫn đến việc sống thử. Từ đó chúng ta có thể tìm ra giải pháp thiết thực để giải quyết vấn đề này.
Bài nghiên cứu sẽ chủ yếu dựa trên những số liệu được tham khảo ở nhiều nguồn khác nhau, sau đó tổng hợp, phân tích và đưa ra kết quả . Tuy nhiên, do một số hạn chế trong việc tìm số liệu cũng như tài liệu tham khảo, nên những số liệu trong bài nghiên cứu có thể sẽ không phải là những số liệu mới nhất. Ngoài ra chúng ta sẽ không nhìn nhận việc sống thử như một vấn đề xã hội tiêu cực, mà chỉ đưa ra những lý do tác động đến những cặp đôi khiến họ đồng ý với việc sống thử trước hôn nhân.

Live test is becoming a tendency of the Youth Division in Vietnam in recent years. The couple will live together as husband and wife without marriage registration, after living together for some time, depending on the decision of both parties if they see fit, then will go to the marriage, but the majority of the results of the "living" which led to the breakup. According to a statistics at Hanoi Open University, in 2010, there were up to one-third of students live test before marriage, while five years earlier, another study in Ho Chi Minh, shows the percentage of live test in the young is 5%. Also in an informal survey of a blogger in Vietnam and had about 3000 participants, the majority of participants were in favour of the live test before marriage. We will go deeper into the cause for the great parts of today's young people agree with the live test before marriage under two subjective perspective is the reason from themselves the couples agree to live try and objectively derived from the effects from external world led to the live test. From there we can find practical solutions to solve this problem. The research paper will mainly rely on the figures are referenced in many sources, then synthesis, analysis and results. However, due to some limitations in the search data, as well as reference material, so the figures in the research paper may not be the latest figures. In addition we will not see the live test as a negative social problems, which only give the reasons that impact the young couples make them agree with the live test before marriage.
