Năm học 2012-2013, chương trình đã hỗ trợ được hơn 6.600 trẻ em trong hơn 100 lớp học. Từ khi bắt đầu đi vào hoạt động đến nay, tỷ lệ SDD ở các em đã giảm đáng kể, xuống còn xấp xỉ 20%, dưới mức Mục tiêu thiên niên kỷ của Liên hợp quốc. Đây là mô hình được xây dựng với nhiều phương pháp có tính ứng dụng cao, có thể áp dụng cho nhiều cộng đồng khác. Bằng việc cung cấp thực phẩm giàu dinh dưỡng như sữa đậu nành xay chung với lạc (để tăng cường chất béo và năng lượng), đào tạo chuyên sâu các kiến thức về dinh dưỡng và chăm sóc sức khỏe cho giáo viên và phụ huynh, cũng như tích cực cải thiện cơ sở vật chất cho nhà trường, chương trình đã cho thấy tầm quan trọng của việc quan tâm chăm sóc sức khỏe cho trẻ em một cách lâu dài, bền vững và thiết thực nhất.

Với những kết quả tốt đẹp mà chương trình đã đem lại cho trẻ em ở một số vùng nông thôn Việt Nam, Tổng Giám đốc Abbott Việt Nam Jullian Caillet khẳng định: Abbott và Quỹ Abbott sẽ một lần nữa cam kết hỗ trợ chương trình dinh dưỡng trong năm học tới, tăng tổng số kinh phí hỗ trợ lên 58 tỷ đồng. Không chỉ cam kết hỗ trợ về kinh phí, Abbott sẽ tiếp tục làm việc với các tổ chức toàn cầu và các địa phương để tìm ra giải pháp mang tính xác thực và bền vững cho việc bảo đảm dinh dưỡng và cuộc sống lành mạnh cho trẻ em và người dân Việt Nam.

2012-2013 school year, the program has supported more than 6600 children in more than 100 classes. This model is built with many methods of high applicability, can apply to many other communities. By providing nutrient rich foods like soy milk blender with peanuts (to increase fat and calories), intensive training in the knowledge of nutrition and health care for teachers and parents, as well as to actively improve the facilities for the school, the program has shown the importance of the continued interest of health care for children in a way long lasting, durable and practical.With the good results that the program was giving children in some rural areas of Vietnam, General Director of Vietnam confirmed Caillet Jullian: Abbott Abbott and Abbott Fund will once again committed to support nutrition program in the coming school year, increasing total funding support over 58 billion. Not only committed funding support, Abbott will continue to work with the global organization and to find solutions to bring authenticity and for ensuring sustainable nutrition and healthy living for children and the people of Vietnam.
