2.1.2 Đôi nét về NH TMCP Sài Gòn Thương Tín chi nhánh Tân Phú
2.1.2.1 Quá trình hình thành:
Sacombank chi nhánh Tân Phú chính thức đi vào hoạt động từ ngày 25/7/2007 đến nay đã 07 năm, là một trong những Chi nhánh có quy mô phát triển nhanh của khu vực TPHCM.
Đến nay Chi nhánh còn có 8 phòng giao dịch (PGD) trực thuộc. Số lượng nhân viên toàn Chi nhánh hiện khoảng 200 người.
Đội ngũ nhân viên là những người trẻ tuổi, năng động, có trình độ chuyên môn, luôn phục vụ tận tình, chu đáo, hết lòng vì khách hàng, có nhiều sáng kiến, cải tiến trong công việc, góp phần vào thành công chung của toàn Chi nhánh.
Trụ sở Chi nhánh và các PGD trực thuộc nằm trên 2 địa bàn quận Tân Phú và Bình Tân, nơi có nhiều Ngân hàng trú đóng tạo nên sự cạnh tranh gay gắt, sôi động hơn trong kinh doanh giữa các Ngân hàng. Tuy nhiên, bên cạnh những khó khăn thì quận Tân Phú và Bình Tân có những điểm thuận lợi như: trên toàn địa bàn quận có nhiều doanh nghiệp, nhiều cơ sở sản xuất tiểu thủ công nghiệp, thương mại, hộ kinh doanh cá thể,… các khu công nghiệp lớn của Thành Phố, mật độ dân cư đông đúc,…Từ những khó khăn và thuận lợi nêu trên, việc khai thác tốt chất lượng khách hàng từ những nguồn này đã đem lại lợi ích rất lớn cho Chi nhánh.
