(CT)- Ngày 23-8, tại TP Cao Lãnh (tỉnh Đồng Tháp), Công ty Cổ phần Bảo vệ thực vật An Giang tổ chức lễ chính thức đổi tên công ty thành Tập đoàn Lộc Trời (Loc Troi Group).

Bắt đầu từ việc cung ứng các sản phẩm nông dược, sau 22 năm hoạt động, Công ty Cổ phần Bảo vệ thực vật An Giang - AGPPS đã dần hoàn thiện chuỗi giá trị sản xuất nông nghiệp, từ khâu nghiên cứu đến khâu sản xuất, tiêu thụ trên nhiều mặt hàng nông sản chiến lược của Việt Nam như: lúa gạo, cà phê... Hoạt động của AGPPS đã góp phần mang lại giá trị bền vững cho nền nông nghiệp, nông dân, nông thôn Việt Nam. Công ty Cổ phần Bảo vệ thực vật An Giang cũng đã trở thành nhà sản xuất, cung ứng dẫn đầu Việt Nam trong lĩnh vực nông nghiệp, với chuỗi giá trị bền vững từ nghiên cứu, sản xuất, kinh doanh các sản phẩm hạt giống, thuốc bảo vệ thực vật, các sản phẩm hữu cơ sinh học, chế biến lương thực, thực phẩm và các sản phẩm giá trị gia tăng sau lúa gạo. Đặc biệt, trong lĩnh vực lúa gạo, AGPPS đã trở thành công ty dẫn đầu trong việc xây dựng chuỗi giá trị sản xuất lúa gạo, với 5 nhà máy chế biến gạo hiện đại trải khắp vùng ĐBSCL, hơn 25.000 hộ nông dân tham gia sản xuất gạo chất lượng cao…

Tính đến năm 2014, Công ty Cổ phần Bảo vệ thực vật An Giang đã tăng vốn điều lệ lên 652,05 tỉ đồng. Tổng giá trị tài sản của công ty đến hết năm 2014 đạt 5.702 tỉ đồng. Doanh thu của công ty trong năm 2014 đạt 8.846 tỉ đồng, lợi nhuận trước thuế đạt 701 tỉ đồng. Năm 2015, AGPPS đặt mục tiêu doanh thu 10.294 tỉ đồng. Mục tiêu doanh thu đến năm 2020 sẽ cán mốc 1 tỉ USD.
