Brexit có thể làm xấu thêm triển vọng tăng trưởng của EU từ đó sẽ làm giảm nhu cầu nhập khẩu của EU từ bên ngoài, trong đó có Việt Nam. Hiện tại Eu là thị trường quan trọng và lớn thứ hai, chiếm khoảng 19.5% tổng xuất khẩu hàng hóa của Việt Nam, trong đó Vương quốc Anh chiếm 3%.

Xuất khẩu của Việt Nam sang EU chủ yếu là hàng tiêu dùng như quần áo, giầy dép, điện thoại, máy tính và một số hàng thực phẩm như thủy sản. Các mặt hàng này chiếm 70% tổng kim ngạch xuất khẩu của Việt Nam vào EU. Trong các năm qua xuất khẩu vào EU của Việt Nam khá ổn định và không bị ảnh hưởng vào diễn biến cũng như triển vọng tăng trưởng của khu vực, điều này ngầm định rằng tăng trưởng chậm lại của EU có thể tác động không quá lớn đến xuất khẩu của Việt Nam sang thị trường này.

At present the Eu is an important market and the second largest, accounting for 19.5% of total export of goods of Vietnam, in which the United Kingdom accounted for 3%.Vietnam's exports to the EU are mainly consumer goods like clothes, shoes, cell phones, computers and some foodstuffs such as fisheries. This accounted for 70% of the total export turnover of Vietnam to the EU. In the past year on EU exports of Vietnam is quite stable and not affected in turn as well as the region's growth prospects, this implied that growth slowed by the EU may not impact too large to Vietnam's exports to this market.
