Đáng lưu ý, hiện số nhà đầu tư cá nhân đã ở mức cao nhất kể từ năm 2011. Nguyên nhân là 3 tháng kể từ khi Chính phủ ban hành Nghị định 60/2015 nới room cho nhà đầu tư nước ngoài có hiệu lực, Việt Nam tiếp tục đón nhận thêm nhiều nhà đầu tư nước ngoài vào mở tài khoản giao dịch chứng khoán. Lũy kế đến hết tháng 11-2015, đã có tổng cộng 18.508 nhà đầu tư nước ngoài được cấp mã số giao dịch chứng khoán tại Việt Nam, trong đó có 2.864 nhà đầu tư tổ chức và 15.664 nhà đầu tư cá nhân.
