Cùng với công nghiệp, tỉnh Bà Rịa V

Cùng với công nghiệp, tỉnh Bà Rịa Vũng Tàu xác định ngành thương mại, dịch vụ là mũi nhọn trong phát triển kinh tế tỉnh. Quy hoạch ngành dịch vụ trong giai đoạn 5 năm tiếp theo, với 4 phân ngành dịch vụ bao gồm: (i) Cảng biển, logistics; (ii) Du lịch; (iii) Xuất – nhập khẩu; (iv) Thương mại. Một số định hướng lớn trong phát triển dịch vụ của tỉnh như sau:
(i) Hoàn thành lập quy hoạch chi tiết, kêu gọi đầu tư và đưa vào hoạt động Trung tâm Dịch vụ hậu cần cảng Cái Mép Hạ. Khu trung tâm dịch vụ hậu cần dự kiến rộng 800 ha, nằm trong cụm cảng Cái Mép – Thị Vải, do Sở Giao thông Vận tải quản lý
(ii) Đầu tư các dự án cảng thủy nội địa, kết hợp kho bãi đã được quy hoạch. Hiện tại trên địa bàn tỉnh vẫn chưa có bãi tập kết container trống, dẫn đến các doanh nghiệp vận tải phải sử dụng kho bãi gần Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh, làm tăng quãng đường trung chuyển và chi phí vận tải
(iii) Tập trung đầu tư hoàn thiện hạ tầng kết nối hệ thống cảng với các đường quốc lộ và đường vành đai của khu vực; hoàn thành tuyến đường liên cảng Thị Vải - Cái Mép, đường Phước Hòa - Cái Mép, đường 991B, đường Long Sơn – Cái Mép
(iv) Đầu tư các tuyến đường bộ, đường sắt, đường thủy nội địa kết nối các tỉnh với hệ thống cảng Thị Vải – Cái Mép, trong đó ưu tiên cầu Phước An, các tuyến đường cao tốc và đường sắt Biên Hòa - Vũng Tàu; sớm di dời hệ thống cảng từ thành phố Hồ Chí Minh về Bà Rịa - Vũng Tàu; tiếp tục nạo vét bảo đảm độ sâu luồng tuyến
(v) Đơn giản hóa, rút ngắn thời gian giải quyết các thủ tục hải quan đối với hàng hóa xuất, nhập và quá cảnh qua các cảng
(vi) Quy hoạch phát triển du lịch Côn Đảo; quy hoạch chi tiết một số khu vực tiềm năng, lợi thế phát triển du lịch như: Vũng Tàu, Long Hải - Phước Hải, Xuyên Mộc và Côn Đảo, trong đó ưu tiên cho tuyến du lịch ven biển từ Vũng Tàu đến Bình Châu và khu du lịch Núi Dinh – Bà Rịa
(vii) Đẩy mạnh các hoạt động xúc tiến, quảng bá điểm đến, các sự kiện văn hóa. Tập trung thu hút đầu tư, phát triển đa dạng hóa các sản phẩm du lịch
(viii) Quy hoạch địa điểm, kêu gọi đầu tư cảng tàu khách phục vụ du lịch. Hiện tại trên địa bàn tỉnh chưa có cảng tàu khách phục vụ du lịch, các tàu du lịch cỡ lớn hiện đều sử dụng hệ thống cảng Cái Mép – Thị Vải.
(ix) Tăng cường hoạt động tuyên truyền, phổ biến các Hiệp định Thương mại tự do (FTA) cho cộng đồng các doanh nhân, doanh nghiệp biết, tranh thủ và phát huy các điều kiện thuận lợi về tiếp cận thị trường và cắt giảm thuế quan
