Theo Euromonitor, sản lượng cà phê rang của Việt Nam đã có sự thay đổi lớn trong niên vụ 2014/15 so với niên vụ trước. Sản lượng xuất khẩu tăng từ 120.000 bao lên 457.000 bao (tăng 280% so với niên vụ 2013/14). Nguyên nhân là do một số cửa hàng đã bắt đầu giới thiệu đến khách hàng loại cà phê rang xay Robusta chất lượng tốt. Nhiều trong số đó cũng đang cố gắng xuất khẩu sản phẩm của mình nhằm tăng doanh thu. USDA dự báo niên vụ 2015/16 xuất khẩu cà phê rang sẽ đạt mức 550.000 bao, tăng khoảng 20% so với thời điểm hiện tại.
