Để có thể đạt được hiệu quả trong kiểm toán, PwC Việt Nam còn sử dụng một mức độ mà tại đó những sai phạm dưới nó được coi là không trọng yếu kể cả khi tính gộp. Mức độ này được gọi là SUM (summary of uncorrected misstatements). Thông thường, SUM sẽ được tính bằng 5% của OM. Một số trường hợp đặc thù khác thì SUM có thể lên tới 10% của OM, song không thể vượt quá 10%. Các yếu tố cần cân nhắc khi xác định mức SUM được thể hiện trong Bảng 2.2.
