VUA đi theo cột dọc, hàng ngang hoặc đường chéo trên bàn cờ


nhưng chỉ đi tới một ô kề bên.

Vua không thể đi vào ô bên cạnh nếu ô đó có quân cùng màu.

Vua ở hình bên không thể di chuyển do các ô bên cạnh đều có quân đứng.

Nhập thành là nước cờ duy nhất mà Vua đi hai ô cờ. Trong nước cờ này, Vua và Xe được di chuyển cùng lúc.

Mỗi bên có 1 VUA.
