Điện sản xuất từ việc thu hồi và tận dụng khí biogas trong quá trình xử lý chất thải tại khu liên hợp xử lý ô nhiễm, thu hồi khí biogas phát điện theo cơ chế phát triển sạch CDM xã Ngọc Lũ. Dự án sử dụng lượng khí Biogas sinh ra để chạy máy phát điện công suất 1.300 KVA, sản xuất điện năng: 21.794 kWh/ngày, tương đương với 7.627.751 kWh/năm.
Nguồn điện năng này chủ động cung cấp cho khu liên hiệp xử lý ô nhiễm và xã Ngọc Lũ hoạt động để thay thế một phần cho điện lưới quốc gia.
Về giá điện: bán trực tiếp cho người dân khu vực dự án với giá 10,05 Uscent/kWh, bảo đảm cho ngành điện có khả năng phát triển bền vững, đáp ứng nhu cầu đầu tư phát triển hệ thống điện.

Electricity produced from the recovery and make use of biogas-gas in the process of waste disposal in handling complex pollution, gas recovery biogas generator under the clean development mechanism CDM Emerald Township.
