11) Lương cơ sở chính thức tăng từ 1/5/2016: 1.210.000 đ
Mặc dù mức lương này làm căn cứ để tính ính mức lương trong các bảng lương, mức phụ cấp... cho đối tượng là công chức, viên chức Nhà nước..., tuy nhiên, nhiều khoản trợ cấp theo Luật Bảo hiểm xã hội, Luật Việc làm vẫn căn cứ theo mức lương cơ sở nên vẫn có tác động rất nhiều đến khối doanh nghiệp.
Cụ thể, mức trần đóng bảo hiểm xã hội và bảo hiểm tai nạn (20 tháng lương cơ sở) sẽ tăng từ 23 triệu lên 24,2 triệu đồng. Phụ cấp thai sản (2 tháng lương cơ sở) cũng tăng từ 2,3 triệu lên 2,42 triệu.
