Mỗi thành viên của Amity đều được mong đợi sẽ phấn đấu để có thể sở hữu một hoặc những giá trị cần thiết để trở thành một công dân toàn cầu, bao gồm: năng lực cá nhân (well-developed profile), mối quan hệ quốc tế (internationally networked) và tinh thần lãnh đạo (readiness-to-lead)
Để có được các giá trị đó, thành viên Amity được cung cấp ba (03) chương trình khung (framework programs) giúp cố định và định hướng những ý tưởng và toàn bộ chương trình hoạt động, bao gồm:
[ Giăng buồm – Set sail ] – gồm những chương trình được thiết kế để đưa thành viên đến những vùng lãnh thổ, vùng văn hoá hoặc những cộng đồng khác với nơi họ sinh sống, để quan sát và ghi nhận những trải nghiệm, kiến thức và ý tưởng của họ. Mục tiêu của chương trình nhằm giúp thành viên mở rộng tầm nhìn, có những động lực từ những trải nghiệm với đa dạng vùng miền, đặc biệt là các vùng văn hoá-lãnh thổ của Việt Nam. Một thành viên tham gia chương trình này được hi vọng sẽ phát triển và tạo ra những kiến thức thực tế, bắt nguồn từ đa dạng các giao tiếp xã hội và quan trọng nhất là thói quen tìm tòi, học hỏi và tích cực khám phá thế giới.
