Researchers such as Papayotopoulou and Papaplexandris (2004) strategic partners need certain capabilities such as general business skills, strategic analysis and strategic leadership to perform its role effectively. In contrast, Long et al. (2008) found the average score for the category of strategic partners is lower than the administrative specialist and champion of employees but less than the change agent. These results showed the human role is stronger in the on-to-day basis and focus more on activities. Strategic partner and change agents to focus more on strategic planning as such, this role is often forgotten on the way, especially in nursing, Raub et al. (2006).
