Theo báo cáo, tỷ lệ hộ nghèo cả nước đã giảm nhanh ở tất cả các địa phương. Năm 2014, tỷ lệ hộ nghèo là 5,97%, cuối năm 2015 còn dưới 5%. Đối với các xã nghèo thuộc diện 30a, tỷ lệ hộ nghèo còn khoảng 28%.
