In the context of burden of liver disease due to the hepatitis virus is becoming burdensome, the World Health Organization has also called on countries and development partners to build effective strategies with the aim of dealing with the challenges of hepatitis and to raise awareness about the disease. The World Health Organization has taken on March 7 is "world hepatitis Day" and for the first time be held in 2011. In 2012, the World Health Organization has issued a Framework for global action programme on the prevention of hepatitis virus infection with no longer transmitted virus hepatitis in the world and all patients were approached about taking care of the safe and effective treatment. Framework includes four main components: 1) increased awareness, promote partnerships and mobilizing resources; 2) build policies based on evidence and figures for action; 3) prevent the transmission of the virus; 4) screening, care and treatment. On 24 may 2014, the World Health Assembly adopted resolution WHA 67.6 about leverages the intervention of hepatitis; the need to strengthen the system of screening, diagnosis and treatment to reduce transmission of HIV, hepatitis B, hepatitis C and the country needs to implement policies aiming to implement the package of essential interventions to diagnose, treatment for drug injecting populations.
