Trong thời gian qua các hoạt động hội nhập quốc tế đã gặt hái được
những thành tựu nhất định, thể hiện ở những điểm sau:
Thứ nhất, chủ trương phát triển các hoạt động hội nhập quốc tế đã
được lãnh đạo Đảng và Nhà nước quán triệt từ rất sớm và những quan
điểm đó đã được thể hiện xuyên suốt qua nghị quyết của các kỳ Đại hội
Đảng toàn quốc, qua các nghị quyết, nghị định của Chính phủ cũng như
qua công tác điều hành trong thực tế của lãnh đạo các cấp ủy đảng và
chính quyền từ Trung ương xuống địa phương.
