Ngày 23 tháng 6 năm 2016, công ty EGATi có văn bản số 111, kèm theo hồ sơ báo cáo nghiên cứu khả thi(FS) của dự án Nhà máy nhiệt điện Quảng Trị 1( Dự án) được hoàn thiện trên cơ sở áp dụng công nghệ trên siêu tới hạn.
Để có đủ cơ sở thẩm định, trình Bộ Công Thương xem xét, phê duyệt Báo cáo nghiên cứu khả thi của Dự án, Tổng Cục Năng lượng đề nghị Công ty Cổ phần Tư vấn xây dựng điện 1 khẩn trương nghiên cứu, hoàn thiện Báo cáo thẩm tra FS của dự án. Trong quá trình thẩm tra, đề nghị Công ty cổ phần Tư vấn xây dựng điện 1 lưu ý cập nhật các quy định hiện hành có liên quan và ý kiến của Tổng cục Năng lượng tại Văn bản số 11 ngày 17 tháng 12 năm 2015.
