Giờ đây, người dùng có thể yên tâm hơn khi sử dụng dịch vụ của Uber bởi tài xế của hãng này đã được yêu cầu phải chụp ảnh selfie trước khi đón khách nhằm xác thực và tránh gian lận.

Mới đây, Uber cho biết sẽ ra mắt một công cụ bảo mật độc đáo áp dụng cho toàn bộ lái xe và người dùng tại Mỹ. Đây là một hệ thống chụp ảnh selfie được thiết kế dành riêng cho tài xế với mục đích ngăn chặn tình trạng lái xe gian lận.

Trước mỗi chuyến đi, Uber sẽ cung cấp hình ảnh thực tế của tài xế để người dùng yên tâm rằng mình không được đón bởi một kẻ xấu mạo danh hay người không có ảnh trùng khớp với ảnh hiển thị trong ứng dụng.

Theo trang tin Tech Crunch, hệ thống mới của Uber có tên gọi là Real-Time ID Check và nó sử dụng máy học của Microsoft để so sánh bức ảnh selfie mà tài xế chụp trước khi đón khách với ảnh đăng ký trong hồ sơ cá nhân của họ.

Theo Uber, Real-Time ID Check được thiết kế như một biện pháp an toàn để bảo vệ cho cả người dùng và lái xe của hãng. Trong trường hợp ảnh selfie của tài xế không khớp với ảnh đã đăng ký thì tài khoản của người này sẽ bị khóa tạm thời để Uber tiến hành điều tra thêm.

Về phía người sử dụng dịch vụ, các lợi ích liên quan đến sự an toàn của họ là rất rõ ràng.
