Liên minh châu Âu (EU) hiện là nhà đầu tư lớn thứ hai ở Indonesia. Trong năm 2014, số lượng các công ty EU đầu tư vào Indonesia đạt 3,2 tỷ USD, tăng vọt so với 2,4 tỷ USD của năm trước. Indonesia đang ở trong tầm ngắm của rất nhiều nhà đầu tư toàn cầu, với gần 50% dân số ở khu vực thành thị và 62% dân số trẻ hơn độ tuổi 35. Tuy Philippines đang dẫn đầu về dòng vốn FDI nhưng theo khảo sát triển vọng kinh doanh ASEAN, hiện nay Indonesia vẫn được coi là nơi hấp dẫn nhất cho việc mở rộng kinh doanh, tiếp theo là Việt Nam, Thái Lan và Myanmar.

The European Union (EU) is currently the second largest investor in Indonesia. In 2014, the number of EU companies investing in Indonesia reached 3.2 billion dollars, up from 2.4 billion dollars last year. Indonesia is in the range of many global investors, with nearly 50% of the population in urban areas and 62% of the population is younger than 35 years. While the Philippines is leading on the FDI but under ASEAN business prospects survey, currently Indonesia is still considered the most desirable place for business expansion, followed by Vietnam, Thailand and Myanmar.
