Tổng Thư ký Hiệp hội Cà phê Ca cao Việt Nam (Vicofa), ông Nguyễn Viết Vinh, cho rằng để gỡ khó cho doanh nghiệp (DN) cà phê trong nước cần có nhiều giải pháp đồng bộ. Tuy nhiên, một trong những giải pháp quan trọng là DN cần chủ động thay đổi phương thức mua bán, xuất khẩu cà phê đang áp dụng phổ biến hiện nay.

Lãi suất vay bất lợi cho doanh nghiệp cà phê

Trên thực tế, hiện cả nước có 150 DN cà phê nhưng hầu hết trong số này đều đang trong tình cảnh khó khăn, thua lỗ, thậm chí có chủ DN phải bỏ trốn. Nguyên nhân chính của tình trạng bê bết này là do thiếu vốn. Về việc này, ông Nguyễn Viết Vinh cho biết hiệp hội đã đề nghị DN cần ký kết thỏa thuận trước với ngân hàng để chủ động vốn. Nhờ vậy, năm 2011, nguồn vốn đã bớt khó khăn hơn khi có tới hàng ngàn tỉ đồng được cam kết cho vay. “Tuy nhiên, với mức lãi suất vay hiện vẫn cao tới 18%-20%/năm, thì kinh doanh cà phê không có lãi” – ông Vinh nhận định.
