6. Sử dụng tài sản của Tập đoàn
 Mỗi cán bộ nhân viên của PetroVietnam được giao sử dụng một lượng tài sản nhất định và có trách nhiệm đặc biệt trong việc bảo vệ và sử dụng chúng một cách thích hợp. Tài sản không chỉ bao gồm tiền mặt và những tài sản tài chính khác mà còn là những tài sản như là tiện nghi, công cụ và các nguồn cung cấp.
 Tự ý chiếm hữu tài sản của Tập đoàn, sử dụng không cẩn thận và lãng phí đều có tác động trực tiếp đến lợi ích của Tập đoàn. Các nghi ngờ về vi phạm sử dụng tài sản phải lập tức báo cáo ngay để điều tra. Tài sản của Tập đoàn chỉ được sử dụng phục vụ cho công việc của Tập đoàn.
 Hệ thống thư điện tử và Internet là công cụ hỗ trợ nhân viên làm việc. Không sử dụng tiếp cận thông tin không phù hợp cho việc phục vụ công việc như (chơi game, tranh ảnh có nội dung xấu, nghe nhạc, xem phim v.v…). Thư điện tử của nhân viên và thông tin, dữ liệu máy tính là tài sản của Tập đoàn và Tập đoàn có quyền kiểm soát các thông tin, dữ liệu này. Trừ phi luật pháp qui định khác, Tập đoàn có quyền tiếp cận và công bố các thông tin này nếu thấy cần cho công việc. Vi phạm các chính sách này có thể bị kỷ luật kể cả buộc thôi việc khỏi Tập đoàn.
