Mương thoát nước

Khi đã dựng lều xong, chúng ta phải đào mương thoát nước ngay, và xin đừng làm lấy có mà phải đào thành một con mương đàng hoàng, sâu khoảng 10cm, rộng 20cm. Tâm của con mương ngay dưới mép lều (chỗ giọt nước nhỏ xuống). Bao nhiêu đất đào lên, nên đắp thành một con đê chắn phía bên trong lều.

Mương và đê nên đào và đắp thật thẳng để tăng thêm phần thẩm mỹ của lều.

Nếu đất bằng phẳng, thì chúng ta phải đào mương đủ bốn phía của lều và ít nhất là một mương tháo, dẫn nước ra xa lều. Cuối mương tháo là một hố chứa nước.

Nếu đất dốc, thì chỉ cần đào 3 phía của lều. Phía trên dốc đào hơi sâu hơn, phía hai bên hông thì đào dài ra khỏi lều một tí.

Đừng bao giờ thấy trời đang nắng mà không đào mương, vì nếu trời đổ mưa bất ngờ (nhất là về đêm) thì không thể nào trở tay kịp.
