Chiều ngày 8/11, tại phiên họp toàn thể Hội đồng Olympic châu Á (OCA) diễn ra tại Macao, Chủ tịch OCA đã thông báo kết quả cuộc chạy đua giành quyền đăng cai kỳ Asian Games lần thứ 18 năm 2019. Theo đó, Việt Nam lần đầu tiên trở thành chủ nhà của một kỳ ASIAD.
Kinh phí theo dự toán khoảng 150 triệu USD (hơn 3.000 tỷ VNĐ). Vì thế nhiều người dân lo ngại, việc tổ chức xây dựng cần tiến hành công khai, tiết kiệm, tránh lãng phí ngân sách.

On the afternoon of 9/11, at the plenary session of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) held in Macao, the President of OCA announced the results of the race to win the right to host the 18th Asian Games period in 2019. Accordingly, Vietnam first became the host of a MINOR TOURNAMENTS.The funding according to the estimation of about 150 million dollars (more than 3,000 billion VND). So many people are concerned, the Organization of the building should proceed openly, save, avoid wasting budget.
