Người sử dụng Internet nằm trong độ tuổi khá trẻ, tỉ lệ nam giới cao hơn. 40% người dùng là giới nhân viên văn phòng.
Theo báo cáo của NetCitzens Việt Nam, độ tuổi trung bình sử dụng Internet tại Việt Nam là 29, thấp hơn độ tuổi trung bình của dân số là 36. Chỉ có khoảng 25% người dùng Internet trên 35 tuổi. Số lượng người cao tuổi sử dụng Internet rất thấp, chỉ đạt khoảng 2 triệu người.
