Vắc xin viêm gan B được bắt đầu đưa

Vắc xin viêm gan B được bắt đầu đưa vào chương trình tiêm chủng mở rộng từ năm 1997 tại Hà Nội và thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Từ năm 2003 được triển khai trên toàn quốc cho trẻ dưới 1 tuổi với sự hỗ trợ của Liên minh toàn cầu về vắc xin và tiêm chủng (GAVI). Tỷ lệ bao phủ cho trẻ em dưới 1 tuổi đạt trên 90%. Việc tiêm vắc xin viêm gan B cho trẻ sơ sinh trong vòng 24 giờ đầu được bắt đầu triển khai từ năm 2006. Tỷ lệ này mặc dù đã đạt tới 74% vào năm 2012 nhưng đã giảm xuống còn 56% vào năm 2013 do tâm lý của bố mẹ cũng như cán bộ y tế lo sợ về tai biến của vắc xin mặc dù tai biến xảy ra trong năm 2013 không thực sự liên quan đến vắc xin

The hepatitis B vaccine was brought into the expanded immunization program since 1997 in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City. Since 2003 is deployed across the country for children under 1 years with the support of the Global Alliance for vaccines and immunization (GAVI). Rate of coverage for children under 1 year of age reaches over 90%. The hepatitis B vaccine for infants within 24 hours was started in 2006. This rate though reached 74% in 2012 but has declined to 56% by 2013 due to the mentality of parents as well as health officials feared complications of the vaccine even though accidents happen in 2013 is not really related to vaccines
