Việt nam và liên minh châu âu chính thức thiết lập quan hệ ngoại giao từ ngày 28/11/1990. Hiện nay, VN và EU đang nỗ lực nâng quan hệ song phương lên một tầm mới. Minh chứng rõ nhất là những hoạt động tích cực nhằm chuẩn bị cho việc ký kết Hiệp định Đối tác và Hợp tác thay thế cho hiệp định khung được kí kết năm 1995.

Vietnam and the European Union formally established diplomatic relations from June 28, 1990. At present, us and EU efforts to lift bilateral ties up to a new range. Evidence for positive activities in preparation for the signing of the cooperation and partnership agreement replacing the framework agreement was signed in 1995.

Vietnam and the European Union established formal diplomatic relations since day 11.28.1990. Currently, VN and the EU are working to raise bilateral relations to a new level. Most evidence are active in preparation for the signing of the Agreement on Partnership and Cooperation Agreement replacing the 1995 Framework was signed.
