3.1.3. Triển vọng xuất khẩu sản phẩm van của Việt Nam sang một số thị trường quốc tế
Trong những năm gần đây bên cạnh các sản phẩm xuất khẩu chủ lực là dệt may, giầy dép, gạo, dầu thô…thì bảng kim ngạch xuất khẩu của Việt Nam đã được bổ sung thêm nhiều mặt hàng mới trong đó có sản phẩm van, mặc dù kim ngạch xuất khẩu của sản phẩm này còn hạn chế nhưng cũng thấy rằng đây là một tín hiệu rất đáng vui cho ngành công nghiệp nặng của nước ta trong điều kiện hội nhập kinh tế quốc tế
Theo báo cáo tổng kết của Hiệp hội xuất khẩu Việt Nam năm 2015 thì mặt hàng van có khả năng gia tăng Xuất khẩu rất lớn do xu hướng đầu tư của các doanh nghiệp sản xuất trong nước và nước ngoài vào sản xuất mặt hàng này khá mạnh mẽ. Riêng năm 2015, trị giá Xuất khẩu van ước đạt trên 520 triệu USD tăng gần 34% so với năm 2014. Hiện tại ở Việt Nam có khoảng trên 100 doanh nghiệp tham gia sản xuất và xuất khẩu van trong đó có nhiều công ty 100% vốn nước ngoài hoặc liên doanh với nước ngoài để đầu tư sản xuất và XK mặt hàng này với quy mô lớn và có dây chuyền công nghệ hiện đại như: Công ty cổ phần van Taya Việt Nam, Công ty Yazaki Edss Việt Nam, Công ty Sumi-Hanel,... Khối các doanh nghiệp trong nước cũng xuất hiện nhiều doanh nghiệp sản xuất và xuất khẩu với quy mô lớn, đặc biệt là Công ty van Việt Nam (Cadivi) và Công ty TNHH Trần Phú...
