Trong một chuyến hải trình huấn luyện, học viên cần phối hợp nhịp nhàng với nhau để đạt kết quả thành công mà không hề cần đến bất cứ tình huống giả định nào. Ngoài ra, thực hành trên những chiếc thuyền buồm đem lại niềm thích thú khám phá và cảm giác hăng hái, vui sướng khi hoàn thành nhiệm vụ cho các học viên.

Những học viên sẽ học cách tự xoay xở và tương tác với các thành viên khác trong đội để điều khiển con tàu, giúp thúc đẩy khả năng tự nhận thức và sự tự tin ở mỗi người.
