- Bảo vệ hiện trường.
- Không cho đám đông hiếu kỳ xâm nhập mục tiêu.
- Báo cáo Công an địa phương.
- Lập biên bản sự việc, báo cáo chủ quản, công ty.
- Cố gắng phát hiện những tang chứng, vật chứng hay người tình nghi.
- Giúp đỡ công an trong công tác điều tra.
- Giải quyết xác nạn nhân khi việc điều tra hiện trường kết thúc.
